Ministries
Youth Programs
The youth ministry at Covenant covers grades 6 through 12 and is very active. Our goal is to foster within our youth, hearts that are sold out to being servants of Christ. We try to make youth group a place where the kids can find close friendship and fun in an environment where they can learn about the Bilbe and be challenged to grow in their relationship with Christ.
Key activities include: A Middle School Youth Group (6th to 8th grade), which meets on Friday nights A Senior High Youth Group (9th – 12th grade), which meets on Tuesday nights. Extracurricular Activities, often with both groups participating, meet two to three times each month.
Each group has a youth worship band, in which kids are invited to participate. The worship band plays music for the weekly youth group meetings.
Some of the recurring annual events include retreats, ski retreats, paintballing, summer mission trips (both within the States and abroad), and much, much more! Come get involved!
Small Group Studies
Our small group studies provide a personal setting for members to grow together in Christ. Groups generally meet on the 2nd and 4th Sundays in homes. Women In The Church(WIC) WIC encourages women in the church to grow spiritually through prayer, bible studies and fellowship together.
Music Ministry
Our music ministries include a praise band for Contemporary Worship service. Our Traditional Service uses an organ and adult choir. It has additional opportunities for ministry including Covenant Strings (classically based string ensemble), handbell choir, and special music.
Jubilee Preschool
Since 1987, Jubilee Preschool has been providing an opportunity for preschool (ages 3 & 4) children to experience their first steps away from home in a loving, Christian, educationally sound environment. Jubilee recognizes that children are unique, each created by God with special gifts.
Covenant in the Community
We believe that church does not stop at the door. We encourage members to get involved in ministries that extend to the local community and beyond…. Some of these include:
Faith In Action
Our Faith In Action ministry provides an avenue for us to work together as a church body to impact our local community. Activities in this community outreach program include conducting a monthly service at Manor Care Nursing Home, and our children’s Prayer Walk. Our summer Vacation Bible School reaches out to a large number of unchurched and other-churched children.
Missions
We support and encourage 27 missionary families in 18 countries. In addition to prayer and financial support for our missionaries, our Annual Missions Conference heightens our awareness of God’s work throughout the world. Each year, we sponsor two mission trips, one in the United States and one internationally, to enable our adults and youth to gain a vision for the world.
